Hello,
You may find this message strange. But I sent this email from neither northern nor southern states. I am sending this email from thousands of miles away, from the big star of Aegean: “Izmir”. After I visited your web page, I could not stop myself to share my ideas. I am an accountant in Izmir. I am the Secretary General of EGEMDER, an accounting firm. I assure you that your association is fulfilling a great mission. Only people who are dealing with associations can understand and appreciate your eagerness to represent our country, and core values even though you are far away from your country. The only thing I can do is to applause (even, while standing!). As a Turkish, we are proud of your accomplishments. I always remember Mehmet Akif’s following expression:
“Enemy can not hurt a the nation unless people divide among themselves,
If hearts beat together, even cannon can not destroy them.” You represent our culture, and our unity in peace and friendship in the US as if all of our hearts beat together. Congratulations, thousands of congratulations. Keep up good work. Yours respectfully, Fatih Sevinc 01/24/2005 |
