Traditional Turkish Iftaar

The second annual "Traditional Turkish Iftar" was held on Sunday, October 23rd, 2005 in Baltimore. Soup, manti, beans, rice, chicken, salad, and yogurt were served after the azan.

After the dinner, Adem Baskaya, who is a Semazen (whirling dervish) instructor in MARTI, gave a speech about the Month of Ramadan. After the speech, Turkish baklava and tea were served. Almost 130 people attended to Second Annual Traditional Turkish Iftar.
