250 Years 250 Backpacks

About this event

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make our 250 Backpacks of Hope Giveaway such a meaningful day for our community! In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, MARTI was proud to give back 250 backpacks to local students and families as they prepare for a successful school year. A special thank you to Chesapeake Science Point Elementary School, for welcoming us and supporting this event, and to [Embrace Relief](https://www.facebook.com/embracerelief?__cft__[0]=AZg0rooa7qsfDqSj1E4jMDgLmGxP5mjeyPtW32uEPLmm0dplnqr1WaX6zPOj7-pFdZS7GC8nKwxjOFaUvGgpgh8Bj9lkiqtDRpf267GrPUj6Vii5ZjbwLmfRZtmz1O7wju14Fsbey3fBKqGdt-QI-Xl_L4P0x6hWd_P-SndcEcN0fKObpvuTRZCyGBo&__tn__=-]K-R) for their valuable partnership and support in making this initiative possible. . We were also honored to be joined by Delegate Mike Rogers, Delegate Mark Chang, and Gloria Dent, President of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education. Thank you for your continued commitment to serving our community. As we celebrate America 250, we are proud to honor by investing in the next generation and continuing to serve, connect, and create opportunities for families across Maryland.
